After days of weight cutting, weeks of waiting, months of preparation and years of passion, the U.S. Open champion Tiare-Lynn Ikei gave us some words about what it takes to get to the next level.
After being down by 2 points going into the second period, Ikei proved to have the heart of a lion by ending up with a win by technical-fall in the finals of the U.S. Open.
Outscoring her oponents 22-0 Ikei ended up earning the U.S. Open Championships First Place.
Now on her quest to become a world champion Tiare dedicates herself to wrestling and her goals one step at a time and at the moment is focusing on the finals at the world team trials and the winner goes on to wrestle at Final X.
